Provider Resource Day

NYC CCR&R  Consortium Provider Resource Day Hosted at CDSC

CDSC was proud to host the Brooklyn NYC CCR&R Consortium Provider Resource Day on September 20, 2008. The Provider Resource Day was a day-long event sponsored by members of the Consortium.

The event was a resounding success! Over 300 child care providers pre-registered to attend the event.  Providers were offered: informational workshops on a variety of topics including accessing operational resources, information on career advancement opportunities such as the the CDA program, fundraising ideas, access to key representatives from OCFS, DOH, SUNY EIP, and CACFP, and a host of vendors who provided a variety of resources and information. The informative and fun-filled day was complemented with refreshments and raffles.

The NYCCCR&R  Consortium sponsors Provider Resource Days borough-wide. The goal of the Provider Resources Day events is to give the childcare community the chance to access important resources at one time by bringing the resources together under one roof.  Also, the events give providers the opportunity to network with their peers.

The work of the NYC CCR&R Consortium is to enhance the quality of child care in New York City. The Consortium members are Child Care Inc., Child Development Support Corporation, Chinese American Planning Council, Committee for Hispanic Children and Families, and Day Care Council.
